Ready..

For the weekend..I really want to sleep for days. I have not been sleeping very well. I hope I get some rest. 3 day weekends are GREAT!!

me & my feet..

Update on me.....swollen feet to say it lightly. I have had swelling in my feet since Friday and had to go to the doctor on Monday. I am still having it and I am wearing flip-flops to work. This as well as a few other issues have helped me make the decision to give my notice @ work. My last day if I make it that long will be Sept 25th. I am nervous about it and I know I will have a lot to get ready for with Rylee coming but it will be a HUGE change for me. I have always worked but, I am excited about the new change motherhood will bring into my (0ur) life. I know this is crazy but,this is my pregnancy blog and I am posting all that goes on with me including a picture of my BIG FAT SWOLLEN FEET... I just had too. I am ready to be able to see my ankles again..but, I know that pretty soon my feet won't matter - I will not be able to see them anyway..hehe!!!

This weekend I will update with pictures of some gifts I have received and nursery stuff I have purchased. Also, I am getting ready to start planning my baby shower. Its going to be so much fun. I have waited for years for this and it's finally happening. I am having a little girl of my own.

Thank God I have a praying Mom. I love my mom so much and glad that she cares enough to know what to say, when to say it and prays all the time for me.

What I should NOT drink....

About 2am this morning after my 10Th time to the bathroom, I was so thirsty so I decided to have a Mountain Dew - BIG mistake. I have not had that drink since I was like 12 yrs old or something but, that was all there was cold in the fridge ( my brother-in-law) Shawn drinks them and that's the only reason why it was in the fridge. Anyway, talk about heartburn- I have been up since then and couldn't ever go back to sleep. My husband informed me that Mountain Dew has 3 times as much caffeine as regular soda???? Also ,I ate bacon for dinner and that didn't help. So I am sure it's gonna be a LONG day.





Yesterday, was a LONG day and a HARD day. I am struggling with work issues right now. I have not been able to keep my head above water due to the lack of help (I have previously discussed A LOT in many blogs ). My new helper Shana starts on Monday and I can't wait. There has been absolutely NO understanding from the (people above -corporate) about why I can't complete my job. The fact that " I am only 1 person" has apparently slipped their mind. Okay, now I am just venting. I was crying so hard at work, I just hope and pray that I can handle the next 3 months -it's hard to be stressed out like this and not to mention my back problems aren't helping. I just don't feel 100% and work is not where I want to be. But, insurance is a sure good reason too stick it out.

Okay, enough...I am going on 3 hours sleep and I need to get ready for another day @ work. Please pray for me if you think about it - I am just struggling with work stuff @ the moment -which is also impacting my sleep, which is not good. I SHOULD be able to leave work at work but, I am bringing work home with me and also working on my days off.

Do you feel sorry for me now.....I am such a complainer in this blog. OH WELL!! It's my blog and I will complain if I want to. (Okay, I am so singing, it's my party and I will cry if I want to in my head) :)

ONE GREAT THING IS RYLEE - I was in her nursery this morning about 3am (which is a BIG mess at the moment) and holding her little clothes up to my chest- thinking how I can't wait for her to arrive. I am so in LOVE with her.

Whew..What a week...

Well, on Wed I was driving to work and my Rodeo decided to start making a horrible noise then it died on me. I called a wrecker and it took 2 hours to get to me. I had to wait at my truck on the side of the road that long. After my truck arrived at the auto shop they determined that the motor was completely gone. It was so time for me to get a new truck. My rodeo was a 2001 and I had it for 5 yrs. We were planning on getting me something a little later down the line but my truck had other plans. I have been in a rental car for the last 3 days. This morning my rental car had a flat tire which I notice when I arrived at work. So I was just lucky that I didn't have a flat on the way to work. Also, we had sold Keith's Montero Sport a few days ago so no extra vehicle to drive but we now had money to pay my truck off. Oh my truck, completely not working, we had to sell to an auto shop for $500, we still owe on it and to replace the motor would have been more than it was worth. We were told we were lucky to get that for it. Our auto shop found someone to buy it within 3 hours. They said that never happens. But, God supplies all of our needs. Let's just say it's been a week.


But....my husband bought me a new truck today. All I can say it's AWESOME!! A 2008 Nissan Pathfinder Limited Edition . I have attached a picture from the website. I will take some pictures of my truck and post sometime this weekend.

Long Awaited Blog...

Well, its a ........!! I think I will tell everyone after I deliver. Nah..I am just kidding.

Here goes....



My doctor's visit was great yesterday. I had my mom, sister, mom-in-law, niece and nephew were there with me. Keith has the flu and couldn't make it..... so sad. He was sweet to think about not getting all of the other pregnant women (at my doctor's office) sick. Dr. Blair said to tell him "thank you". Everything looks great. She is beautiful with all of her fingers, toes and little nose. They said she is perfect. I knew in my heart it was a girl. The reason, well I have always wanted boys and I knew that God would bless me with a "little girl" to help me grow as a person and mommy. I could handle a boy but a girl will be a challenge for me. I am always up for a challenge!!! It's going to be great. My granny that is "90 years old" in a few days is so happy, she wanted a girl so bad and I get to bless her with another precious great-grand baby.
As for me, relieved is my word that I am using. I was so scared that something would be wrong but, things are wonderful. I have gain 7 lbs since my last visit. That makes 9 lbs total in 5 months. My doctor said I am making this easy for him, I am doing fantastic -right on schedule. And of course I have pictures to show. I just know you are ready to see....so here they are.

Words can not express the joy I am feeling. As I am writing this blog and posting pictures of "our " baby tears are just rolling down my face. I am relieved and over joyed. I feel like for the 1st time in this pregnancy I can start to fully enjoy it.

Oh one more thing...of course you know that I had to go shopping for the nursery. I will post more pictures later of all of the stuff I bought. I will have a fabulous, adorable little girls room. I can't wait to start decorating.

I have to take Keith to the doctor now. Please pray that he will have a speedy recovery and will not pass any germs on to me!!

I am halfway there..can't wait to see this little sweet baby that I (we) already LOVE SO MUCH!!

Family coming to visit today..YEAH!!!

My family is coming up for my " exciting" doctor's visit on Monday. They should be here in about 2 hours. It's always so fantastic to see them. Let's just say everyone can't wait to see what we are having. I am excited. I have not said this before but, my guess is a "girl". So far the poll results are: 21(girl) and 15 (boy). I (We) will be estatic either way. If you haven't voted go ahead and tell me what you think.
