Sneak Peak...Rylee's Nursery

Finally, the pictures you have been waiting for. First, I would like to say these are just a few items in her nursery to give you an idea of the "theme" which is "Vintage Shabby Chic". In the next few weeks I should be able to complete her "gorgeous" nursery and at that time will post more pictures. I still have a few furniture items to get and move into the room.

A few details:

On another note: Doctor's visit today

I had a doctor's visit today..they tested my sugar's. I had to drink this horrible orange liquid. If the results are positive (which I am praying they will not be) I should know in 2 days. I have gain 5 lbs so that make a total of 15 lbs so far (in 7 months). Rylee's heart rate is good and everything with me is good. After they took my blood I felt horrible so I have been in bed resting for most of the day. My last day@ work is on Friday and I can't wait.

Anyway, comment on this blog and let me know what you think about her nursery stuff so far.

Promise...

I have had a few of you (my friends that read my blog) ask about my colors for my nursery since the shower invitations have gone out. I am out of town at the moment and will post pictures of her bedding ,etc ( I promise) when I get home either Sunday ( I have to work on an owner's letter for work- final thing to do before my last day) or Monday.

Yes...I know you are saying that " you have said this before..your going to post pictures" but I really will this time. I PROMISE..hehe.

Excited about change....

I am really getting excited about so many things in my life.

1. Rylee - this one is obvious!! :) December 26Th - maybe sooner or later???
2. Last day of work - next Friday...WOO-HOO!! I am ready for this one. I can't wait to get the nursery done and clean my house. I need to get organized.
3. Baby Shower- October 11Th - of course this is my 1st one and I can't wait. Its going to be sooooo much fun!!
4. My anniversary - October 23rd- 4 yrs. I love him so much. We are going to "try" to take a little "mini" vacation before Rylee arrives and I get to "big" to travel..hehe!!
5. Waiting for Keith to be able to feel Rylee and actually see her move. :)
6. To see all of my family with Rylee..she is going to be so loved and spoiled.
7. Just can't wait to be a mommy!!! I am ecstatic!! :)




Mood: Very Happy

Baby Movements.....

I have been feeling Rylee since 16 weeks but, last night I actually could see my stomach move. I was laying down and she was in a ball, half of my stomach was flat and I guess her butt was in the air...then it happened my stomach rolled.

She is very active at night....literally kicking me so hard it hurts but..I am enjoying every minute of it. I can't wait until Keith can see and feel her. Not to much longer I am sure.

Well...everyone I will be out of pocket for the rest of the weekend. Going to see my in-laws in a very relaxing place. Can't wait.

My husband...

Is so sweet...he is making me some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies...yummy!!! Actually, he wanted them but, I get to enjoy them too. He might have made them if I ask???

Good Report..

I had a doctor's visit today and everything is great. Rylee's heart rate is good, I have only gained 10lbs (in 6 months) and my belly is measuring the right size. I am right on track.

As for me and how I am feeling: still having little bouts of morning,evening sickness, swollen feet, hands, heartburn and peeing every 5 minutes. I am just tired due to not sleeping well but, I know all of this is just normal. And after the baby I will be saying "sleep" what does that mean"..hehe!!


My last day @ work is October 3rd and I am excited but nervous about that. I have a lot to do with cleaning and organizing my house and getting the nursery ready before the Rylee arrives so I won't be bored. It's just going to be a big change. I am looking forward to this "new chapter" in my life.

We are planning for my baby shower. I am very excited about it. It's going to be so much fun. Also, I know that I have been promising pics of the nursery stuff I am buying...I will eventually post them. It's going to be the sweetest little nursery ever. If you don't know this about me..decorating is my passion and I am loving getting to decorate Rylee's nursery.

Hormones????

Yes, I know that pregnancy hormones are blamed for many things but, don't you think that sometimes what is causing a pregnant woman to act the way she does has something to do with the other person just being unreasonable or they are just wrong. I am having a off day if you can't already tell.
