Napping Outside 2-25-09

I am trying something new with my photos, I installed an application on my I-phone called Color Splash. However, my husband will be teaching me photoshop.........I'm excited to learn it.

Our Target Trip...

Well, let's just say I don't get out of the house that much! But yesterday I had to...the walls were closing in. So I decided we would take a trip to Target and she did so good. She only cried 2 times and I had to carry her, but she went right back to sleep. I took a picture (cheesy to take one??) I don't think so. She had just woke up from the trip there, which is about 30 minutes, to New Braunfels. In case you don't know.... I live out in the "middle of nowhere"!! (That's a big part of why I stay home..and I am nursing).

Again...Adorable even in a Target basket.

Rylee & Daddy - Keith's Birthday 2-20-09

Yesterday was Keith's 36th Birthday...and I took this of him with Rylee. We are having a get together at our house today..I will try to snap some more. :)

I can't believe how big she is getting...she almost weighs 11lbs,rolling over on one side, laughing out loud, smiling, following me across the room when someone is holding her ( I love it) and trying so hard to raise up!! She is perfect!! Enjoy the pics..

Rylee's Nursery/Guest Room

Can you believe it....finally pics of the nursery. I had so much fun with this room. For years I have thought about what theme I would do my baby's nursery in. I thought about "rag dolls"......I had a dream about that one, years ago after my miscarriage in 2000.

I decided to go with Shabby Chic, birds and all my favorite things. - I love " all things old & vintage". It is also a guest bedroom...which helps me if I need to sleep in her room.. and we have. Keith has been sick (this week) so we have slept in her room the last 3 nights (the big bed)!

Baby Bed...Auntie K & Uncle Bill purchased this for Rylee (thanks again) !! The rocking chair was a birthday present for me from my hubby!!

Memo's to Mommy - Keith made this... (the quotes are from Parents Magazine). The idea was a combined effort. I bought this dresser for $15 dollars,it was turquoise..the mirror I bought separately..turned out pretty good..huh!! I love the green glass knobs.

This cabinet is from Aunt Shelly (was Logan's) & I added the shabby chic bins ( not cheap ) for the perfect touch.

This wreath was not cheap either but, I had to have it- the little bird pictures were a great find too.

This bed was mine from home...it's iron and very old. Its been in the family a long time. I cherish it.

Yes, its a Christmas tree from Nanna.......I thought it looked so pretty I decided to leave it in there all the time. The bird mirror from Ross (one of my favorite stores)...I was shocked to find it , who would have thought I would find a bird mirror...hehe!!

I love the green & white polka dot blanket, another lucky find. (Tuesday Morning)

This cabinet was red & white...(the room was previously all red & white with western flare)..I had it red for a while and everyone said it looked good..but, it drove me crazy....I had to paint it and I am pleased with the look.

I had to put horses in her room...I love them so much & so will she. :)
